Abstract

The invention relates to a cooling panel for a casting furnace, which can be rotated in such a way that the two faces of the panel can be positioned facing the casting process and which can be turned over such that either the upper or lower end of the panel can face the process. For this purpose, the panel is produced with a smaller width than traditional panels and the panel itself is flat, unlike other panels that are curved, such that the coolant inlets and outlets can be secured to the shell instead of to the panel.
