Abstract

Un método para reducir la contaminación biológica del aire de interiores e higienizar las paredes y superficies en un espacio cerrado; método que comprende provocar que una corriente de aire fluya hacia arriba a través de una zona de tratamiento, y que se ponga en contacto, sobre una superficie perforada, alineada sustancialmente de manera horizontal, con una corriente de solución de salmuera que tiene un potencial redox de no menos de 500 mV; de manera que se forme una capa activa sobre la superficie perforada alineada horizontalmente; mezclándose la salmuera y el aire en dicha capa; y suministrar el aire tratado que sale de la zona de tratamiento, al espacio que se va a higienizar.
