Abstract
The present invention is intended to facilitate and improve the reproductive control and handle in animals of different species, and mainly refers to improve the means used for controlling and manipulating the reproductive cycles in bovines; more particularly the invention refers to an extended-release vaginal veterinary composition for the reproductive control and handle in bovines and to the process for obtaining the same; which is characterised in that it comprises a mixture of bioadhesives which enables the permanent and extended vaginal dissolution of the veterinary tablet; the process for obtaining the extended-release vaginal veterinary tablet comprises the steps of mixing the bioadhesives, the emulsifier and the excipients with the progesterone hormone for obtaining the vaginal veterinary composition in a tablet.
