Abstract

Se describe un método de tratamiento de una formación que contiene hidrocarburos. El método incluye (a) suministrar una composición para recuperación de hidrocarburos a por lo menos una porción de la formación que contiene hidrocarburos, en donde (i) cuando la salinidad de la salmuera es de 2% en peso a 4% en peso, la composición comprende una mezcla de un sulfonato de olefina interna C20-24 y un sulfonato de olefina interna C24-28 en donde la relación en peso del sulfonato de olefina interna C20-24 a sulfonato de olefina interna C24-28 es de 90:10 a 70:30 y (ii) cuando la salinidad de la salmuera es mayor que 4% en peso hasta 13% en peso la composición comprende una mezcla de un sulfonato de olefina interna C20-24 y un sulfonato de olefina interna C15-18 en donde la relación en peso del sulfonato de olefina interna C20-24 al sulfonato de olefina interna C15-18 es de 90:10 a 70:30; y (b) permitir que la composición interactúe con hidrocarburos en la formación que contiene hidrocarburos.
