Abstract

Se presenta un ensamble de anillo de respaldo novedoso de dos piezas para el eje de un vagón. El ensamble de anillo de respaldo tiene un cuerpo anular fijo al filete en el gorrón y un anillo de cierre para fijar de manera adicional el cuerpo anular en posición en el gorrón. El anillo de cierre tiene un extremo hacia el interior fijo al guardapolvo del árbol y un extremo hacia el exterior para acoplar una ranura en el cuerpo anular. El ensamble de anillo de cierre puede adaptarse a ejes de vagones de la generación anterior para incrementar la rigidez estructural del ensamble de cojinete y minimizar el desgaste por rozamiento provocado por la deflexión del eje del vagón.
