Abstract

Un proceso para una reducción en la cantidad de compuestos de azufre, cianuro de hidrógeno, ácido fórmico y derivados de ácido fórmico en un gas de síntesis que comprende estos compuestos, el proceso comprende el paso que consiste en poner en contacto el gas de síntesis con un material que comprende absorbente de azufre y después con un catalizador que comprende uno o más metales seleccionados del grupo que consiste de plata, oro, cobre, paladio, platino y sus mezclas y soportado en un portador que comprende por lo menos uno de los óxidos de escandio, itrio, lantano, cerio, titanio, zirconio, aluminio, zinc, cromo y molibdeno.
