Abstract

Se describe una charola para almacenar y transportar botellas de acuerdo a una modalidad de la presente invención que incluye una base y una pluralidad de columnas de esquina y columnas laterales, que se extienden con dirección hacia arriba desde la base, que incluyen columnas laterales centrales. Las columnas laterales centrales y las columnas de esquina tienen rebordes externos que definen una altura de encajamiento de la charola, tal que las paredes laterales de una charola similar, encajadas sobre la misma, podrían hacer contacto con y descansar sobre los rebordes externos de las columnas laterales centrales y las columnas de esquina. De acuerdo a otra característica independiente de la presente invención, las columnas laterales no centrales están desplazadas con dirección hacia adentro con relación a las columnas adyacentes. Esto acomoda la agarradera de la charola en una configuración apilada a lo ancho, a noventa grados. Como otra característica opcional, las columnas extremas están desplazadas hacia adentro con relación a las columnas de esquina adyacentes, con el fin de acomodar la agarradera de una charola similar encajada sobre la misma.
