Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con composiciones espesantes poliméricas que comprenden por lo menos un copolímero reticulado que puede dilatarse en agua, un proceso para preparar tales composiciones y su uso como espesante, por ejemplo, en formulaciones cosméticas, dermatológicas, farmacéuticas o veterinarias. El copolímero reticulado que puede dilatarse en agua, de acuerdo con la presente invención, se prepara a partir de una mezcla que comprende (a) acrilamida, (b) un ácido acrilamidoalquilsulfónico y/o una sal del mismo y (c) un agente de reticulación con funciones múltiples basado en aminas que comprende por lo menos tres funciones alílicas.
