Abstract

Un proceso para la preparación de productos de hidrocarburo que comprende los pasos que consisten en: (a) proporcionar un gas de síntesis que comprende hidrógeno, monóxido de carbono y dióxido de carbono; (b) hacer reaccionar por lo menos parte del gas de síntesis a una mezcla de compuestos oxigenados que comprende metanol y éter dimetílico en presencia de uno o más catalizadores los cuales catalizan juntos una reacción de hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono a compuestos oxigenados a una presión de por lo menos 3 MPa; (c) retirar del paso (b) una mezcla de reacción que comprende cantidades de metanol, éter dimetílico, dióxido de carbono y agua junto con el gas de síntesis sin reacción y enfriar la mezcla de reacción para obtener una fase líquida con las cantidades de metanol, éter dimetílico y agua y disolver simultáneamente dióxido de carbono en la fase líquida; (d) separar la fase líquida que contiene dióxido de carbono de una fase gaseosa restante que comprende hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono; (e) evaporar y hacer reaccionar la fase líquida que se separa del paso (d) en presencia de un catalizador que es activo en la conversión de compuestos oxigenados a hidrocarburos superiores y un gas de cola que comprende dióxido de carbono; (f) separar el gas de cola de una fase líquida con los hidrocarburos superiores; y en donde la presión empleada en el paso (c) al paso (f) es sustancialmente la misma que aquella empleada en el paso (b).
