Abstract
Se describen técnicas para la transmisión de información utilizando símbolos baliza en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. En un diseño, un transmisor puede asignar información a múltiples sub-portadores entre una pluralidad de sub-portadores, con la información que se transmite por la posición de los múltiples sub-portadores. El transmisor puede asignar la información a al menos un símbolo no binario. El transmisor puede entonces determinar cada uno de los múltiples sub-portadores con base en un símbolo no binario o puede determinar todas los múltiples sub-portadores con base en un símbolo no binario. El transmisor puede generar un símbolo baliza con la información asignada a los múltiples sub-portadores. El transmisor puede usar mayor potencia de transmisión para los múltiples sub-portadores para permitir que los receptores con geometría baja reciban la información de forma confiable. El uso de múltiples sub-portadores puede permitir que más información sea transmitida en el símbolo baliza y también puede mejorar la diversidad de frecuencia.
