Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un proceso para la producción de un fertilizante orgánico seco granular y al fertilizante producido por el proceso. El proceso incluye los pasos de proporcionar una turba con un pH de 6-7; en caso necesario, tamizar la turba a través de un tamiz para remover fibras mayores que 4 mm; tratar la turba con una base y formar una mezcla; tratar la mezcla con un ácido orgánico como, por ejemplo, ácido propiónico, EDTA, aminoácidos, ácido fúlvico; y después granular la mezcla para producir un fertilizante de carbono orgánico seco granulado pH amortiguado a 6-7. Este fertilizante granular es un fertilizante completo y es aceptable para uso en agricultura orgánica en todo el mundo.
