Abstract

La presente invención se dirige a un método y aparato para ajustar la cantidad de criógeno suministrado a un soporte de laminador (1) usando un sensor no óptico (16ª) para medir por lo menos un parámetro de operación seleccionado del grupo que consiste en los parámetros del soporte de laminación, parámetros del producto laminado y parámetros del criógeno. Las señales de salida, se generan por el sensor no óptico y un controlador (17) calcula los valores numéricos basado en la señales. Cuando los valores numéricos calculados alcanzan un valor de punto de ajuste predeterminado que se correlaciona con la temperatura del soporte de laminador, el flujo de criógeno se ajusta para dispersar una cantidad deseada de fluido criogénico al soporte de laminador (1) para controlar la temperatura de laminación.
