Abstract

Se describen celdas de batería electroquímicas con electrodos similares a tira y que tienen un contacto a presión entre un hilo de uno de los electrodos y una pared lateral del contenedor de celda. Una celda electroquímica tiene un ensamble de electrodo enrollado espiral que tiene un hilo interno en contacto a presión directo con un electrodo negativo de lámina delgada de litio libre de un colector de corriente separado y en contacto con una porción interior del contenedor de celda, en donde el contacto especificado entre el hilo y la lámina delgada de litio proporciona un flujo de corriente entre el contenedor y la lámina delgada.
