Abstract
Se describen técnicas para enviar transmisiones de múltiple entrada múltiple salida (MIMO) en sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. En un diseño, un transmisor envía una primera señal de referencia mediante un primer enlace, por ejemplo, una señal de referencia de celda específica mediante el enlace descendente. El transmisor recibe la información de indicador de calidad de canal (CQI) determinada por un receptor basándose en la primera señal de referencia. El transmisor también recibe una segunda señal de referencia desde el receptor mediante un segundo enlace, por ejemplo, una señal de referencia sonora mediante el enlace ascendente. El transmisor obtiene por lo menos una matriz de canal de MIMO para el primer enlace basándose en la segunda señal de referencia. El transmisor determina por lo menos una matriz de precodificación basándose por lo menos en una matriz de canal de MIMO, por ejemplo, de acuerdo con la formación característica de haces ideal o la formación característica de pseudo-haces. El transmisor entonces envía una transmisión de datos al receptor basándose por lo menos en una matriz de precodificación y la información de CQI.
