Abstract
Se describen plantas contempladas para recuperación de líquidos de gas natural que emplean corrientes de reflujo alternas en una primera columna y una corriente de derivación de gas residual, en donde la expansión de varias corrientes de proceso proporciona substancialmente toda la carga de refrigeración en la planta. Las plantas contempladas no solamente tienen una recuperación flexible de etano entre 2% y 90% y al mismo tiempo una recuperación de por lo menos 99% de propano, sino también reducen y más típicamente eliminan la necesidad de refrigeración externa.
