Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a dispositivos y métodos para determinar automáticamente el estado de uso de dispositivos médicos y más particularmente al manejo automático de energía en base a dicho estado de uso en dispositivos médicos electrónicos. Específicamente, aunque no exclusivamente, la invenci6n se refiere a manejo de energía de estetoscopios electrónicos (1) , cuando tales dispositivos se encienden antes del uso del estetoscopio y a problemas relacionados con el encendido de tales dispositivos o que se relacionan con el tiempo requerido para que tales dispositivos electrónicos se vuelvan operables después de encender el dispositivo antes de utilizarse. Además, la determinación del estado de uso de acuerdo a la invención puede encontrar uso en otros dispositivos diferentes a los estetoscopios, tales como dispositivos inyectores para administrar medicamentos o dispositivos inhaladores. El estado de uso es de acuerdo a los principios de la invención determinados en base a las señales recogidas, por ejemplo, por medios sensores que detectan señales de sonido recogidas por medios transductores en un estetoscopio electrónico o por medios detectores de proximidad (tales como medios medidores de capacidad) o medios medidores de bio impedancia.
