Abstract

Se utiliza un quemador con un sello protector para crear una cavidad de combustión a una temperatura suficiente para un embalse de arena. El quemador crea y sostiene gases de combustión calientes en un estado estable para fluir dentro y penetrar a través de una zona objetivo. El sello protector aísla la cavidad de combustión del agujero forrado y forma un anillo protector sellado entre el agujero forrado y el quemador. El agua se inyecta en la zona objetivo, por arriba de la cavidad de combustión, a través del anillo protector sellado. El agua inyectada penetra lateralmente y enfría el depósito adyacente al agujero, y el agujero forma el calor de los gases de combustión calientes. Los gases de combustión calientes y el agua en el depósito interactúan para formar un impulsor frontal en un depósito de hidrocarburo.
