Abstract

Se hace un estudio intensivo y extensivo sobre un agonista del receptor EP4, y se encuentra que un nuevo compuesto de piridona en el cual la posición 1 de un anillo piridona está sustituida por un grupo que tiene un grupo ácido tal como un grupo carboxilo, y la posición 6 del anillo piridona está unida a un grupo anillo aromático por medio de un alquilo inferior, un alquileno inferior, un éter o un tioéter, tiene una buena actividad agonista del receptor EP4. El compuesto tiene una buena actividad agonista del receptor EP4 y una buena actividad de aumentar el flujo de sangre femoral en una rata, y por lo tanto es útil como un agente medicinal, particularmente un agente terapéutico para enfermedad arterial periférica.
