Abstract
Se proporciona un método para hacer un artículo recubierto tratado térmicamente (HT) para utilizarse en aplicaciones de puertas de duchas, aplicaciones de ventanas o cualquier otra aplicación adecuada donde se desean los artículos recubiertos transparentes. Por ejemplo, ciertas modalidades de esta invención se refieren a un método para hacer un artículo recubierto que incluye un paso que consiste en tratar térmicamente un substrato de vidrio recubierto con por lo menos una capa de o que incluye carbón tipo diamante (DLC) y una película protectora superpuesta sobre la misma. En ciertas modalidades ejemplares, la película protectora puede ser de o puede incluir tanto (a) una capa de bloqueo o barrera de oxígeno y (b) una capa de liberación. Después y/o durante el tratamiento térmico (por ejemplo, templado térmico o similares), la película protectora puede ser retirada. Otras modalidades de esta invención se refieren al artículo recubierto antes del HT o al artículo recubierto después del HT. La figura más representativa de la invención es la número 4.
