Abstract
Se describe un método, así como también una planta para la producción simultánea de electricidad y clínker de cemento hidráulico a través de la cual el polvo bruto de cemento del método es calcinado en el horno de calcinación (4) sometido al suministro simultáneo de combustible y aire de combustión y es quemado, de manera subsiguiente, en clínker de cemento hidráulico en un horno (5), y en donde alguna cantidad del calor contenido en los gases de escape que proviene del horno de calcinación (4) es utilizada para generar electricidad por medio de una sección de caldera (18). El método y la planta son peculiares porque el aire de combustión suministrado al horno de calcinación (4) no contiene álcali o cloruro, y porque la temperatura de los gases de escape utilizados para generar electricidad es al menos de 500 ºC. Con lo cual, se obtiene que pueden evitarse las formaciones de revestimiento configurada sobre los tubos de caldera debido a la condensación de los vapores de álcali y cloruro, mientras que al mismo tiempo, es incrementada la eficiencia con la cual puede convertirse la energía térmica en energía eléctrica.
