Abstract
Un empalme de pilas de concreto entre pilas de concreto reforzado impulsadas para unirlas juntas extremo- a-extremo, con los extremos de ambas pilas de concreto reforzado unidos, y que tienen una superficie de extremo; la junta de cada pila incluye botones de retención proporcionados con agujeros que reciben pernos, casquillos de retención cilíndricos proporcionados con los agujeros de paso que reciben pernos para los cuales las partes tipo tubo que reciben pernos se utilizan para interconectar los casquillos de retención y pernos de retención; un par de juntas que forman un empalme consta de dos piezas de junta similares; la junta es instalada en el extremo de la pila de concreto durante el proceso de vaciado vertido; a fin de reducir el costo de manufactura y los materiales de las piezas de empalme y para lograr la confiabilidad en la operación, éstos son elaborados mediante maquinado o soldadura; de preferencia, el agujero en e1 botón de retención y el agujero del túnel transversal que se extiende a través del casquillo de retención tienen una disposición excéntrica con relación entre sí.
