Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un sistema y método para llevar a cabo operaciones simultáneas de ensamblado, desmantelamiento y mantenimiento de equipo instalado por una plataforma de sondeos utilizando herramientas, sistemas y las áreas disponibles sobre la plataforma misma. Básicamente, el sistema comprende la instalación de dos vigas de sostén separadas paralelas y dos bases móviles soportadas sobre las vigas para llevar a cabo operaciones simultáneas. También se describe un método para el ensamblado simultáneo de dos artículos de equipo submarino para instalación, y un método para sustitución y ensamblado simultáneos de equipo submarino utilizando un cabestrante y un cable de acero de manera alternativa al descenso y recuperación de equipo.
