Abstract
Un aparato y un método para realizar procedimientos (protocolos) de una capa de PDCP (protocolo de convergencia de datos de paquete) y una RLC (capa de radio en un E-UMTS (sistema de telecomunicaciones móviles universal evolucionado) que ha evolucionado a partir de un UMTS, entre protocolos de radio de un sistema de telecomunicación móvil; la capa de PDCP realiza un cifrado en los datos (es decir, PDCP SDU) recibidos desde una capa superior, genera un indicador discriminando los datos cifrados y los datos no cifrados (es decir, un paquete de retroalimentación de ROHC generado directamente por la capa de PDCP), y transmite los mismos a una capa inferior (es decir, la capa de MAC); un PDCP SN (número de secuencia) se define como un algoritmo para cifrar los datos en la capa de PDCP para realizar el cifrado en la capa de PDCP.
