Abstract
La presente invención usa pilas de grafito litográficamente configuradas como los elementos de construcción básicos de una celda fotovoltaica eficiente y económica. El diseño básico de las celdas fotovoltaicas basadas en grafito incluye una pluralidad de pilas de grafito espacialmente separadas, comprendiendo cada una pluralidad de hojas de grafeno semiconductoras, verticalmente apiladas (nanolistones de carbono) que puentean contactos eléctricamente conductores y que forman un contacto de Schottky con uno de dichos contactos eléctricamente conductores.
