Abstract

Un método para atenuar el ruido relacionado en señales de exploración electromagnética transitoria se incluye producir, a partir de una señal electromagnética transitoria medida por un primer receptor, un cálculo de la respuesta de la tierra y un cálculo de ruido relacionado a partir de una porción de la señal que ocurre antes del inicio de una respuesta de la tierra y/o después que la respuesta de la tierra ha decaído sustancialmente; un cálculo de ruido relacionado se determina sobre toda la señal medida a partir del primer receptor utilizando un cálculo de la respuesta de la tierra; el cálculo de ruido a partir de toda la señal y el cálculo de porción se utilizan para calcular el ruido relacionado en señales transitorias a partir de un segundo receptor.
