Abstract

Se describe un método para colocar tubería desde una embarcación (10). En una modalidad, una sección de tubo de acoplamiento triple se suelda en parte en un área de procesamiento de tubo (38), posteriormente se mueve a lo largo de la embarcación (10) a un área de procesamiento de tubos diferente, en donde se llevan a cabo las operaciones de soldadura adicional en el acoplamiento triple. Con el objeto de que la embarcación opere en dos modos de operación, las instalaciones de depósito de almacenamiento (12) para almacenar secciones de tubos de longitud simple, están configuradas para permitir el acomodo de diferentes longitudes de secciones de tubos de longitud simple ajustadas extremo a extremo en un depósito simple.
