Abstract
La presente invención describe polinucleótidos y polipéptidos aislados y construcciones de ADN recombinante especialmente útiles para alterar la estructura de la raíz de las plantas, composiciones (tales como plantas o semillas) que comprenden estos construcciones de ADN recombinante, y métodos para usar estos construcciones de ADN recombinante. La construcción de ADN recombinante comprende un polinucleótido ligado operativamente a un promotor funcional en una planta, en donde ese polinucleótido codifica un polipéptido útil para alterar la arquitectura de la raíz de la planta.
