Abstract

La presente invención se dirige a materiales de poliolefina estirados que tienen un módulo E de al menos 17 GPa, preferiblemente al menos 20 GPa y una resistencia de al menos 400 MPa, que comprende una poliolefina y un nano-material, tal como un agente de nucleación, el material es obtenible por un proceso que comprende una etapa de estiramiento en donde el material es estirado a una relación de estiramiento de al menos 16. Los materiales de la invención se pueden producir por un proceso que comprende las etapas de: proporcionar un compuesto de un material de poliolefina y un nano-material, por ejemplo un agente de nucleación, en donde el nano-material es dispersado preferiblemente en una escala molecular en el material de poliolefina, extruir este compuesto, seguido por una etapa de estiramiento en donde el material es estirado a una relación de estiramiento total de al menos 16.
