Abstract
La invención se refiere a un acoplamiento mecánico simple para controlar una transmisión continuamente variable de regímenes múltiples. La transmisión en cuestión comprende un variador (10) y un arreglo de engranes que incluye un embrague de bajo régimen (CL) y un embrague de alto régimen (CH). El acoplamiento del embrague de bajo régimen coloca la transmisión en el régimen bajo. El acoplamiento del embrague de alto régimen lo coloca en el régimen alto. El sistema de control comprende una parte de control (tal como una palanca) que es movible por el usuario a lo largo de una trayectoria de control desde un extremo de baja proporción hasta un extremo de alta proporción. La posición de la parte de control dicta la proporción del variador y la proporción de la transmisión. El sistema incorpora además un dispositivo de control del embrague de bajo régimen que acopla el embrague de bajo régimen cuando la parte de control está entre el extremo de proporción baja de su trayectoria, y un punto de transición de embrague bajo, y que libera el embrague de bajo régimen cuando la parte de control está entre el punto de transición del embrague bajo y el extremo de alta proporción de su trayectoria. Este incorpora adicionalmente un control de embrague de alto régimen que libera el embrague de alto régimen cuando la parte de control está entre el extremo de baja proporción de su trayectoria y un punto de transición del embrague alto, y el cual acopla el embrague de alto régimen cuando la parte de control está entre el punto de transición del embrague alto y el extremo de alta proporción de su trayectoria. De esta manera, puede ser proporcionado un arreglo mecánico que maneja la proporción de transmisión y los cambios del embrague requeridos después del cambio de régimen.
