Abstract

Se describen un método y aparato para realizar una transferencia. Un cliente de subsistema de múltiples medios (IMS) de protocolo de Internet (IP) se registra con una red IMS y establece una sesión de transferencia independiente de medios (MIH) con un servidor de aplicación MIH utilizando un protocolo de inicio de sesión (SIP). El cliente IMS establece una sesión para el servicio basado en IP, (por ejemplo, voz sobre IP (VoIP)), con una transmisión semejante utilizando un SIP. Los mensajes MIH se intercambian para transferencia con el servidor de aplicación MIH sobre IP. Después de la transferencia, se reanuda la sesión. Una función de control de sesión de llamada servidora (S-CSCF) activa el servidor de aplicación MIH basado en una secuencia de "servicios de MIH" y un identificador único incluido en una solicitud de INVITAR.
