Abstract
La presente invención trata en términos generales de un proceso para preparar cianohidrina de acetona, que comprende como pasos: A. Poner en contacto acetona y el ácido cianhídrico en un reactor para dar una mezcla de reacción, la mezcla de reacción se hace circular, para obtener cianohidrina de acetona; B. Enfriar por lo menos algo de la mezcla de reacción; C. Descargar por lo menos una porción de la cianohidrina de acetona obtenida desde el reactor; D. Destilar de manera continua la cianohidrina de acetona descargada obtenida para obtener un producto de fondo de cianohidrina de acetona y un producto de partes superior de acetona en una columna de destilación; E. Reciclar por lo menos una porción, del producto de parte superior de acetona en el paso A, el producto de parte superior de acetona se mantiene en menos que 60ºC durante el reciclado, de un proceso para preparar un metacrilato de alquilo, de un proceso para preparar ácido metacrílico, de un aparato para preparar metacrilatos de alquilo, de un proceso para preparar polímeros basados en por lo menos de manera parcial metacrilatos de alquilo, del uso de los metacrilatos de alquilo obtenibles a partir del proceso de acuerdo con la invención en productos químicos, y de productos químicos basados en los metacrilatos de alquilo que se pueden obtener mediante los procesos de acuerdo con la invenci6n.
