Abstract

Se proveen composiciones inyectables novedosas que comprenden un agente activo el cual es tamsulosina o letrozol o sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, derivados, isómeros, polimorfos, solvatos, hidratos, análogos, enantiómeros, formas tautoméricas o mezclas de los mismos y uno o más excipientes farmacéuticamente aceptables en donde las composiciones preferiblemente se formulan como micropartículas o nanopartículas biodegradables las cuales se pueden reconstituir opcionalmente con un vehículo acuoso, hidro-alcohólico o liquido oleoso antes de la administración; las composiciones inyectables novedosas de la presente invención preferiblemente forman un deposito después de la administración in vivo y están en la forma de una composición gelificante in situ o una composición en implante la cual provee una liberación prolongada de tamsulosina o letrozol por periodos extendidos de tiempo; también se describen procedimientos para la preparación de dichas composiciones novedosas y métodos de uso de los mismos.
