Abstract
La presente invención ofrece un sol de óxido de titanio como fotocatalizador que presenta una actividad antibacteriana en lugares oscuros y que aun cuando contenga plata, es estable sin decoloración por luz, y ofrece una composición de recubrimiento y un miembro que lo utiliza. Se proporciona un sol de óxido de titanio como fotocatalizador que comprende plata, cobre e hidróxido de amonio cuaternario. Además, se proporciona una composición de recubrimiento de fotocatalizador que tiene el sol de óxido de titanio como fotocatalizador dispersado en un aglomerante. Además, se proporciona un miembro que tiene una superficie de material de base recubierto con la composición de recubrimiento de fotocatalizador. Se preparó este sol de óxido de titanio como fotocatalizador que contiene plata altamente antibacteriana a través del uso ingenioso de cobre e hidróxido de amonio cuaternario. Por consiguiente, no solamente se pueden lograr efectos antibacterianos a través de la plata sola en lugares oscuros sino también, en usos convencionales que involucran esterilización por luz ultravioleta, etc., se pueden alcanzar efectos antibacterianos más efectivos a través del uso de este sol de óxido de titanio como fotocatalizador en combinación con un dispositivo de esterilización con luz ultravioleta, etc.
