Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a tiras sensoras electroquímicas y a métodos para determinar la concentración de un analito en una muestra o al mejoramiento del desempeño de la determinación de una concentración. Las tiras sensoras electroquímicas pueden incluir por a lo sumo 8?g/mm2 de un mediador. Las tiras, la capa de reactivo de las tiras o los método pueden proporcionar la determinación de un valor de concentración que tiene por lo menos uno de una desviación de estabilidad menor que ?10% después del almacenamiento a 50ºC durante 4 semanas cuando se compara con una tira de comparación almacenada 20ºC durante 4 semanas, una desviación de hematocrito menor que ?10% para muestras de sangre entera que incluyen de 20 a 60% de hematocrito y una relación de intercepción con respecto a la pendiente de a lo sumo 20 mg/dL.
