Abstract
La invención se refiere un material alveolar, a su método de preparación y a sus usos, en particular, como material absorbente, y en particular para la fabricación de esponjas y otros productos de uso doméstico. El material alveolar de la invención incluye una mezcla de fibras de polímero absorbente, y de cuando menos un elastómero, y presenta una estructura alveolar formada por alvéolos cuyo tamaño se encuentra entre 0,2 µm y 10 mm., al menos 1% de los alvéolos, en volumen con relación al volumen alveolar total, teniendo un tamaño incluido entre 0,2 µm y 10 µm. La invención encuentra aplicación, en particular, en el campo de los productos absorbentes.
