Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a comunicaciones multimedia avanzadas vía OCAP usando perfiles específicos de cliente residentes en la STB para manejo de cuenta. Los aspectos de la invención también se refieren al manejo de preferencias de pago, pago automático de cuentas o facturas, manejo de preferencias de notificación de cuenta, activación de una notificación a ser enviada a uno o más de un dispositivo asociado y la STB en la recepción de una cuenta, análisis de una cuenta entrante con un agente inteligente y opcionalmente inicio de una comunicación con el vendedor asociado con una cuenta basado en el análisis, adquisición de información adicional acerca de la cuenta que incluye una imagen de la cuenta y/o detalles adicionales, y expedición de información de factura a un destino asociado con la STB.
