Abstract

El invento corresponde a un proceso de fusión óptimo, mediante la utilización de una fuente de inducción magnética autorresonante, como el que se describe en la patente de invención No US 6.466.467 B2, y una cuba con crisol de carburo de silicio (6 equivalente). Con lo anterior se mejora el proceso de fusión por inducción ya que además de los procesos de transferencia de calor por conducción y convección presentes en los procesos actualmente desarrollados, se tiene una componente de transferencia directa desde el campo magnético hacia la carga o material a fundir, debido a que la capacidad de autorresonancia de la fuente de inducción permite generar corrientes de Foucault en la carga una vez licuada. Además, se obtiene un proceso altamente eficiente para fusión realizada a gran altura, lo que representa una notable ventaja con respecto a los procesos de fusión que utilizan combustibles fósiles. La utilización de la fuente de inducción magnética autorresonante permite generar un proceso óptimo independiente de la carga que se desea fundir.
