Abstract

Un brazo de reacción para un intensificador de torque impulsado por energía con un alojamiento con un eje, una unidad intensificadora de torque y un dispositivo interruptor para conmutar la unidad intensificadora de torque entre alta velocidad/bajo torque y baja velocidad/alto torque, se configura para operar el dispositivo interruptor de modo que cuando el brazo de reacción se coloca en una primera posición, la unidad intensificadora de torque se conmuta a alta velocidad/bajo torque y el brazo de reacción es utilizable como una manija por un operador, y cuando el brazo de reacción se coloca en una segunda posición la unidad intensificadora de torque se conmuta a baja velocidad/alto torque y el brazo de reacción puede acoplarse contra un objeto estacionario ya que el alto torque no puede ser absorbido por el operador.
