Abstract
Se describen técnicas para controlar transmisiones en redes de comunicaciones inalámbricas. En un aspecto, el control de transmisión para una red de malla puede alcanzarse al clasificar los puntos de malla o estaciones en la red de malla. En un diseño, puede determinarse la clasificación de una primera estación en la red de malla. Puede identificarse al menos una estación de clasificación menor a la primera estación en la red de malla. La primera estación puede establecer al menos un parámetro de transmisión para al menos una estación de clasificación menor. En otro aspecto, a las estaciones de les pueden asignar diferentes valores de parámetro de transmisión a fin de alcanzar los requisitos de datos de cada estación. Puede seleccionarse al menos un valor de parámetro de transmisión por cada estación con base en la clasificación, requisitos de QoS, cantidad de tráfico, y/o tasa de datos factible para esa estación y puede enviarse (por ejemplo, mediante un mensaje de respuesta de prueba) a la estación.
