Description
OPRI IBLE CONTAINER FOR DAIRY PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to an opfinable container, mainly for storing and dispensing chilled dairy products of food, semi-liquid or pasty products.
In the field of food products, containers for storing and dispensing chilled dairy products are known. Typically, they consist of a closed thermoformed container with a removable membrane. These containers are widely used, for example, for yogu ::.
However, all known containers are such that they require the use of a tool, such as a spoon, a straw, a glass, or the like, to dispense and consume the product, regardless of the dose of the product that is consumed.
; Therefore, there is a need for a container for food products that are flowing, for example frozen dairy food products, that is economical to produce and that allows direct consumption from the package in a convenient and hygienic manner without the need for use a tool
The present invention is directed to the problems set forth above with a thermoformed container for food flowing products comprising a container body with a flat upper edge, and an opening of the body of the container, characterized in that: (i) the body of the container The container is oppressible at least in both axial and transverse directions, so that its volume can be reduced by at least 85%, preferably by at least 95%, with the application of manual pressure, and (ii) the edge is rigid. and comprises a continuous dispensing nozzle with the body of the container, the opening being closed by at least one primary membrane that is sealed on that edge.
As can be understood from the above explanation of the structure of the invention, the container provides a convenient and user-friendly packaging structure for the immediate consumption of a product, especially by young consumers. By "pressing in both axial and transverse directions", it is understood that the body of the container is oppressible not only in one direction, but in at least two directions, which allows maximum compression of the volume of the container, by way of allow the consumer to completely and effectively dispense the contents of the container. In a preferred option, the body of the container is squeezable even in a multitude of directions, not only in the two axial and transverse directions.
By axial direction, the vertical axis is understood when the container opening is turned upwards. By transverse direction, it is understood any direction that is comprised in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction.
After opening the primary membrane that closes the body of the container, the consumer presses the body of the container so as to force the product out of the container. Before pressing, the consumer places the nozzle inside the mouth so that the dispensed product flows into the mouth when the body of the container is depressed. Therefore, there is no need for a tool like a spoon to dispense the product from! the container. After consumption, the container remains in one piece and can be disposed of very easily.
In a first embodiment of the present invention, the at least one primary membrane can be sealed at the edge and comprises a dispensing perforation located in the region of the membrane nozzle, the dispensing perforation being closed by a second removable membrane, sealed on the first .
Preferably, the dispensing perforation has > a diameter comprised in the scale from 1 to 15 mm, preferably from 2 to 8 mm.
In a second embodiment of the invention, the primary membrane may comprise a first portion that closes the opening of the body of the container, which is sealed on the flat upper edge in a fixed manner, and an isecond portion that closes the dispensing nozzle,
I that is sealed on the flat top edge so
I removable.
Preferably, the releasable portion of the closure membrane can be folded over the rest of the membrane, to allow direct consumption from the container, in a hygienic manner.
In a third embodiment of the invention, the membrane may comprise a first portion that closes the opening of the body of the container that is sealed on the edge, and a second portion that closes the dispensing nozzle, both of which portions are releasably sealed.
In all cases, the primary membrane is preferably a complex sheet comprising at least one sealer, and an aluminum or a polyester.
Also preferably, the flat top edge is a horizontal ring.
The dispensing nozzle can define a canal opening with a width of less than 10 mm and a height of less than 10 mm.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the body of the container is made of a thermoplastic material taken from the group of: polyethylene, polylactic acid, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polyethylene, polypropylene, or a combination thereof. In all cases, the flowing product that may be contained in the container of the invention is preferably a frozen, chilled, or shelf-stable dairy food product.
Additional representations and advantages of the present invention are described in, and will be apparent from, the description of a particular representation that is set forth in the detailed description below, with reference to the drawings, wherein: Figure 1 is a view upper perspective view of the Container with the primary closing membrane closed by a second releasable membrane; Figure 2 is a top perspective view of the container of Figure 1 with the second membrane in the open configuration; Figure 3 is a side view of the container i in the closed configuration; Figure 4 is a bottom perspective view of the container in the closed configuration.
As can be seen from the Figures, especially from Figures 1 and 2, the shape of the container
(1) s usually that of a strawberry. However, it should be understood that other shapes could be obtained, as well as by the thermoforming process.
According to the present invention, the body (2) the container is squeezable in both axial and transverse directions, so that its volume can be reduced by at least 95% with the application of manual pressure.
Also in accordance with the present invention, and shown for example in Figure 3, a raised upper edge (3) which is located in the upper part of the body 82) of the container, and which surrounds the opening (4) of the body of the container - the opening (4) is delimited in the Figures with dotted lines -, comprises a dispensing nozzle (5) that is continuous with the body (2) of the container.
In a first possible representation of the present invention, which is shown in Figure 1, the opening (4) of the body (2) of the container and the nozzle (5) -dispenser are closed by means of a primary membrane (6). This primary membrane (6) is a complex sheet comprising a sealant layer compatible with the edge material (3), which comprises aluminum and plastic.
As shown in Figure 1, the primary membrane (6) is sealed over the edge (3) in a fixed manner, and comprises a dispensing hole (7) in the region of the primary membrane nozzle. As shown in Figure 1, a second removable membrane (8) is releasably attached to the primary membrane (6). The secondary membrane (8) can be easily detached from the primary membrane, as illustrated in Figure 2, in order to open the dispensing perforation (7), and allow the dispensing of the contained product.
As can be seen in Figures 2, 3 and 4, the beak (5) defines an opening generally in channel and has! a width of less than 10 mm and a height of less than 10 mjn. The lengths of the nozzle and the channel are determined to allow the membrane to have sufficient unsealed surface, to be used as a tear-open strip to detach the membrane from the nozzle, before consumption.
I As shown in Figure 4, in case the primary membrane should be completely removed from the edge of the body of the container, it can be sealed in a removable manner and its shape can be made so that the portion (9) of the mouthpiece this primary membrane surpasses the region of the edge nozzle (3).
It should be understood that various changes and modifications to the currently preferred representations that are described above in detail will be apparent to those skilled in the art. These changes and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and competence of the present invention and without diminishing its concomitant advantages. It is therefore intended that such changes and modifications be covered by the appended claims.
