Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato de moldeo por inyeccion y soplado que tiene una torreta (12) con tres caras lateralmente enfrentadas (16, 18, 20). La torreta es giratoria entre una posicion de inyeccion (44), una posicion de soplado (46) y una posicion de eyeccion (48) que estan angularmente espaciadas entre si alrededor de un eje de rotacion de la torreta. Un soporte de nucleo de molde (22, 24, 26) se monta en cada cara de la torreta. Cada soporte de nucleo tiene un carril (50) y una aleta (52, 54) montada de manera pivotante en cada extremo del carril para el movimiento entre las posiciones dobladas que cubren el carril en la posicion de inyeccion y posiciones no dobladas que se extienden desde los extremos del carril en las porciones de soplado y eyeccion. Los nucleos de molde (42) se montan en cada carril en un espacio reducido. El espacio se puede incrementar moviendo las aletas a las posiciones extendidas y expandiendo los nucleos de molde en el carril y las dos aletas. Tambien se reivindica un metodo para formas articulos de plastico por moldeo por soplado.
