Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una emulsión acuosa estable de un compuesto perfluoroquímico, que comprende aproximadamente 60 por ciento en peso/volumen o más de un compuesto perfluoroquímico, aproximadamente 0.5 a 7 por ciento en peso de fun fosfolípido, que emulsiona con el compuesto perfluoroquímico, aproximadamente 5-30 por ciento en peso de un triglicérido de ácidos grasos y el resto de un medio acuoso. Metodo para preparar una emulsión acuosa estable de un compuesto perfluoroquímico en un margen de concentración de dicho compuesto perfluoroquímico de aproximadamente 60 por ciento en peso/volumen o más, en que el emulsionante acuoso se mezcla con una primera porción del volumen del perfluoroquímico, manteniendo una temperatura debajo de 35 grados, para producir una emulsión perfluroquímica inicial y en seguida mezclar la porción restante del volumen del perfluroquímico con la emulsión perfluroquímica inicial, en tanto se mantiene la temperatura debajo de 35 grados C, para suministrar una emulsión perfluroquímica final que tiene una concentración del compuesto perfluoroquímico e el margen de 60 por ciento en peso/volumen o mayor.
