Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición elastómera apropiada para utilizarse en la porción de banda de rodadura de una cubierta de neumático, comprendiendo dicha composición 1) en el intervalo de 5 a 50 por ciento en peso de un bloque de copolímero (A) de un compuesto vinil-aromático y un dieno conjugado y que tiene un contenido de compuesto vinil-aromático en el intervalo de 52 a 90 por ciento en peso, un peso molecular aparente mayor que 25.000 y un contenido de vinilo en las unidades de dieno conjugado menor que 20 por ciento en peso, y 2) en el intervalo de 95 a 50 por ciento en peso de un bloque (B) que es un homopolímero de un dieno conjugado o un bloque de copolímero de un compuesto vinil-aromático y un dieno conjugado, conteniendo dicho bloque (B) menos que 20 por ciento en peso de un compuesto vinil-aromático y teniendo una temperatura de transición vítrea por debajo de menos 40 grados C, con lo cual, después de vulcanización de la composición elastómera, el bloque (A) es incompatible con el bloque (B).
