Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un artículo absorbente desechable, adecuado para absorber fluidos corporales descargados, mientras que tiende a redicir el pH en la piel, el artículo comprende una hoja de refuerzo impermeable a los líquidos, una hoja superior permeable a los líquidos, relativamente hidrofóbica y un núcleo absorbente flexible, que contiene material de fibra hidrofílica, el núcleo absorbente se coloca entre la hoja de refuerzo y la hoja superior, caracterizado porque la mejora comprende construir la hoja superior, relativamente hidrofóbica, al menos en parte de tela polimérica no tejida o material de película, que en su estructura de polímero contiene porciones acídicas en una cantidad suficiente para impartir una capacidad de intercambio de iones, de cuando menos 0.25 meq/gr aproximadamente, a la hoja superior, de modo que al exponerse dicha hoja superior a fluido corporal descargado, libera protones en una cantidad efectiva para reducir el pH en la piel, dentro del rango aproximado de 3.0 a 5.5.
