Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de polimezcla en polifase, termoformable, que tiene distintas fases primera, segunda y tercera sin miscibilidad, pero con compatibilidad mecánica, la polimezcla se caracteriza porque consiste esencialmente de (i) de 10 a 40 partes en peso de polímero de olefina (PO), (ii) de 20 pero menos de 40 partes de un copolímero de injerto de polímero de olefina (PO-G), el copolímero de injerto tiene un índice de fusión en el rango de aproximadamente 2 a 40 gramos/10 minutos, bajo la condición G de la prueba STM D 1238-73, (i) y (ii) forman la primer fase; (iii) de más de 40 a aproximadamente 70 partes de poli(cloruro de vinilo) (PVC) que constituye la segunda fase y (iv) de 10 a 30 partes de polietileno clorado (CPE), al menos 5 partes del cual tiene un contenido de C1 suficiente para mantener substancialmente su cristalinidad, formando la tercer fase; la cantidad de PVC, PO y PO-G, se eligen de manera tal que hay más PVC que PO y a lo mucho una cantidad igual en peso de PO y PO-G, para proporcionar la primer fase contínua en una mezcla substancialmente rígida y PVC con CPE, las fases dispersas.
