Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un ensamble de motor eléctrico ventilado que comprende: un ensamble de estator que tiene una cavidad hueca de forma cilíndrica para el rotor; un ensamble de forma cilíndrica de rotor que tiene una flecha cilíndrica dispuesta centralmente axialmente a través del mismo, teniendo dicha flecha un rodamiento soportado en un extremo y otro rodamiento soportado entre la otra punta de la flecha extendiéndose más allá de dicho ensamble de rotor y adyacente al extremo frontal de dicho ensamble de rotor, estando dispuesto dicho ensamble de rotor en forma rotatoria dentro de dicha cavidad para rotor de dicho ensamble de estator; un medio de tapa extrema espaciado, asegurado a y alrededor de extremos opuestos de dicho ensamble de estator para contener rotatoriamente a los rodamientos apoyados sobre dicha flecha de rotor a cada lado de dicho ensamble de rotor para permitir la rotación de dicho ensamble de rotor dentro de dicho ensamble de estator, teniendo dicha tapa extrema una pared extrema exterior plana y una pared lateral periférica que se extiende desde él alrededor de un extremo de dichos ensambles de estator y de rotor, una pared extrema con una proyección de alojamiento cilíndrico para el rodamiento con una abertura central para acomodar dicha extensión de la flecha del motor a través del mismo sobre el extremo opuesto de dicho estator y encerrando un espacio de aire entre dichas paredes y dichos ensambles, teniendo dicha pared extrema y dicha pared lateral periférica, aberturas para dirigir el movimiento de aire entre dichos ensambles de rotor y estator y para removerlo de ahí; un medio que se extiende hacia el exterior de dicho medio de tapa extrema para montar a dicho motor; un medio de ventilador montado sobre dicha flecha del rotor dentro de una de dichas tapas extremas para mover el aire retirándolo de dichos ensambles de rotor y estator y hacia afuera de dichos medios de tapa extrema durante la operación del motor.The present invention relates to a ventilated electric motor assembly comprising: a stator assembly having a hollow cylindrical cavity for the rotor; a cylindrical rotor-shaped assembly having a cylindrical shaft arranged centrally axially therethrough, said shaft having one bearing supported at one end and another bearing supported between the other shaft end extending beyond said rotor assembly and adjacent to the front end of said rotor assembly, said rotor assembly being arranged rotatably within said rotor cavity of said stator assembly; a spaced end cap means secured to and around opposite ends of said stator assembly to rotatably contain the bearings supported on said rotor shaft on either side of said rotor assembly to allow rotation of said rotor assembly within said stator assembly, said end cap having a flat outer end wall and a peripheral side wall extending therefrom around one end of said stator and rotor assemblies, an end wall with a cylindrical housing projection for rolling with a central opening to accommodate said extension of the motor shaft through it on the opposite end of said stator and enclosing an air gap between said walls and said assemblies, said end wall and said peripheral side wall having openings to direct movement of air between said rotor and stator assemblies and to remove it from there; a means extending outwardly from said end cap means for mounting to said motor; fan means mounted on said rotor shaft within one of said end caps for moving air by withdrawing it from said rotor and stator assemblies and out of said end cap means during engine operation.
