Abstract
The invention relates to agriculture, namely to a process for treating common wheat seeds with low viability.The process, according to the invention, comprises soaking of seeds before sowing in an aqueous solution of steroidal glycoside 3-O-{¢&bgr;-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]- ¢&bgr;-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)]-&bgr;-D-galactopyranoside}-5α-furostan-3&bgr;,22α,26-triol, obtained from seeds of Hyoscyamus niger L. by methanol extraction at a concentration of 0.0005…0.01% for 24 hours.
