Abstract

The invention relates to devices for rotation of flat grates of the carbon-containing raw material processing plants, in particular to the gas generators, boilers, furnaces etc., and may be used in the chemical, fuel, power branches.The device for rotating the flat grate of a carbon-containing raw material processing plant comprises drive (3) and driven (5) shafts joined between them, onto the driven (5) shaft being fixed the flat grate. Onto the drive (3) and driven (5) shafts there are fixed, correspondingly, drive (4) and driven (6) gearwheels. Around the driven gearwheel (6), onto shafts (7, 8 and 9), there are uniformly fixed three intermediate gearwheels (10, 11 and 12), meshing with it, at the same time one of the intermediate gearwheels (10) meshes with the drive gearwheel (4). The driven shaft (5) may be made hollow.
