Abstract

The invention relates to instruments for vehicle traffic rate measurement during brake system diagnostics.The decelerometer contains a body (1), to which it is fixed an inertial mass (3), a segment of fiberglass (6), having one end connected to a light-emitting diode (7) and another end to the connected in series a photodiode (8), an electronic device and a digital display device. The inertial mass (3) is made in the form of plate and is fixed to the body (1) by means of a leaf spring (4), the segment of fiberglass (6) is placed between the plate of the inertial mass (3) and another plate (5), rigidly fixed to the body (1), and the adjacent surfaces of both plates are made with profiled teeth. The electronic device includes blocks connected in series between them: a signal amplifying and processing module, an analog-to-digital converter, a first counter, a comparison element, an electronic switch, the second input of which is connected to the analog-to-digital converter, a code transfer unit, the second input of which is connected to the first counter, and a second counter, the second output of which is connected to the comparison element.
