Abstract

The invention relates to essential oil industry, namely to processes and devices for producing hydrolate from vegetable raw material and can be used in perfumery, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.The process for producing hydrolate includes preparation of vegetable raw material, its placement in the second container (8), preparation of the steam in the first container (1), followed by its feeding into the second container (8), processing of the raw material by action thereon with high-pressure steam, equalization of temperature and steam pressure in both containers (1, 8), supply of the steam saturated with essential oils in the coil (16) of the condenser (15) and drainage of hydrolate.The installation for producing hydrolate comprises two sealed containers (1, 8), connected by a conduit (7), wherein the steam is prepared in the first container (1) and the raw material is placed in the second container (8), connected with the coil (16) of a condenser (15) by a conduit (12), on which, from the end of the container (8), are placed in series a pressure control valve (13) and a nozzle (14).
